The 'Fire Country' actress recently shared an emotional farewell to Los Angeles after living in the city for 30 years, reflecting on the dream that had brought her there and raising her family.

As reported by Fox News on July 31, the actress recorded her last day in Los Angeles through her Instagram page, sharing photos and videos that gave fans a glimpse into her deeply personal farewell. While her next steps remain a topic of curiosity, Farr has emphasized this move marks the start of a new personal chapter, not the end of her time on 'Fire Country.'

"I wasn’t born here, I didn’t go to school here – I just had a chance for representation as an actor and I moved out of NYC the summer I was 26," she wrote, reflecting on her journey.

Diane Farr’s move out of Los Angeles is motivated by personal changes rather than work-related issues. Farr, who has been playing Cal Fire division chief Sharon Leone in CBS's 'Fire Country' since 2022, announced her move on Instagram.

Farr noted that she had lived in Los Angeles, her hometown, for exactly 30 years and expressed how much the city meant to her. According to her, the city was where she started chasing her dream.

While pursuing her acting career in Los Angeles, Farr married and had three children, Beckett, Coco, and Sawyer, with her ex-husband Seung Yong Chung. She expressed her gratitude for raising her children in Los Angeles, with its outdoorsy vibe and excellent public schools.

The Future of Diane Farr and 'Fire Country'

Although news of Farr's move sparked speculation among fans, her departure from Los Angeles does not affect her role on 'Fire Country.' In response to fan concerns on Instagram, Farr clarified that she remains part of the CBS drama and will continue playing Sharon Leone, a central character in the series.

Farr revealed that one of her new abodes will be in Vancouver, where 'Fire Country' is filmed, and that season 5 is currently in the works. Before joining 'Fire Country,' Farr had a robust TV career with roles in 'Roswell,' 'Rescue Me,' 'Numb3rs,' and 'Splitting Up Together.' Although her final destination is still a mystery, it’s clear that this move symbolizes another exciting chapter in her life away from Los Angeles, not a farewell to acting or to 'Fire Country.'
