This revelation came during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where Rocky opened up about the time he and Rihanna locked eyes outside a New York City nightclub. It was a moment when he was just another aspiring artist outside the velvet ropes.

"It was crazy. We met outside of a nightclub, ironically, here in New York. I wasn't famous at the time. She was obviously Rihanna," Rocky recalled with a chuckle. "And I couldn't get in. The bouncers didn't want to let me in, and I was with my friend, the late great Virgil Abloh, and Matthew Williams."

"And I was just, like, in a daze. And, you know, I was a little embarrassed that she caught me bickering with the guard and stuff like that," Rocky added.

From Awkward Beginnings to Family Bliss

Fast forward to today, and the couple is now a family of five, having welcomed their third child, Rocki, in September 2025. The duo has been together since 2020, and their family life is as vibrant as a Malibu sunset. Their first child, RZA, was born in May 2022, followed by son Riot in August 2023.

In an interview with The New York Times Popcast, Rocky shared candid insights into the personalities of his little ones. "You know, my first son, RZA, he's [the] opposite of his brother, the three-year-old and the two-year-old," he mused. "They're about 14 months apart. So they're really close, but he's really antisocial."

Dynamic Family Dynamics

Riot, on the other hand, is quite the social butterfly, much to the delight of his proud parents. "And my second son is just a socialite at this point, you know? He wants to steal the room when he comes, and he walks in it, and he's addicted to cotton candy…typical little kid stuff," Rocky said with a grin.

The arrival of their daughter Rocki brought a new wave of joy and energy into their household. "Baby Rocki man, she's something, you know she's four months…And she looks exactly identical to me. My twin," Rocky beamed.

A Father's Pride and a Mother's Instinct

Rihanna has often praised Rocky for his dedication as a father, which she saw coming from the start. She once shared in an interview that knowing someone believes in you as a mother is a special bond. "When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you're worthy of being the mother of their kids, it's a great feeling," she explained. "I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad."
