It's another chapter in the ongoing saga between "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Camille Grammer and her former husband, "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer. In a candid revelation, Camille, now 57, has shared a glimpse into the "harsh" dynamics she experienced during their breakup. Appearing on a May 18 episode of the "Humble Bragg" podcast, Camille recalled receiving a startling text from Kelsey, who is now 71, at a time when emotions were already running high.
"He sent me a text saying, 'I feel no remorse for what I am doing,'" Camille recounted. "And that was very harsh because I was very much in love with him. And I believed he was very much in love with me."
The reality TV star reflected on the good times they shared during their 13-year marriage before their separation in 2010, which was marred by Kelsey's admission of infidelity with Kayte Walsh, his current wife and mother of four of his children.
Camille didn't shy away from discussing the emotional turmoil that followed the end of her marriage. She revealed to "RHOBH" producers that she felt "almost suicidal," overwhelmed by the pressures of the show and the relentless scrutiny from fans and the media.
"I don't feel like I was getting a break 'cause [of] the show, the fans, the audience," Camille said. "Then, bigger than that, it's Kelsey's people – his machine behind him to protect his image – that were on full force."
Though the couple has been estranged for 14 years, they share two children, Mason, 24, and Jude, 21. Camille confirmed she hasn't spoken to Kelsey since their split.
Kelsey Grammer has since moved on, building a family with Kayte Walsh. The "Frasier" star, who recently joked in an October podcast about categorizing his children by "clusters," shares four children with Walsh: Faith, 13; Gabriel, 11; James, 9; and 7-month-old Christopher.
Additionally, Kelsey is father to Spencer, 42, known for "Rick & Morty," as well as Greer, 34, who appeared in "Awkward." His children with Camille also include Mason and Jude.
