Los Angeles was buzzing with Halloween energy on Tuesday night as "Dancing with the Stars" featured its spine-chilling themed routines. However, fans noticed the glaring absence of Elaine Hendrix, an actress celebrated for her role in "The Parent Trap." Instead of twirling under the sequined lights, Hendrix found herself in a Los Angeles hospital.
Earlier that day, Hendrix was rehearsing with her professional dance partner, Alan Bersten. Videos captured from their practice session show the 54-year-old actress visibly in pain and clutching her ribs. The rehearsal took a serious turn when Hendrix was carried from the ballroom on a gurney and transported by ambulance.
“She is doing well and is excited to get back in the ballroom,” shared Bersten after receiving their scores.
With Hendrix unable to perform live, the judges evaluated her last full rehearsal, awarding the duo a score of 32 out of 40. Host Alfonso Ribeiro reassured the audience that doctors have given her the green light to return to the show, contingent on the couple's survival in this week's elimination round. "Dancing with the Stars" continues to air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., keeping fans eagerly awaiting Hendrix's potential return.
Stay tuned to see if Hendrix will make her comeback to the dance floor and continue her journey on this dazzling stage.
