In her exclusive interview with ELLE, Emily revealed the pivotal role that 'The Devil Wears Prada' played in her career. "Filming the sequel almost 20 years later has been terribly moving because it changed everything," she shared. Casting director David Frankel took a chance on her when she was relatively unknown, a decision that Blunt believes was life-changing. "That meant a huge amount to me," she added.
“She was such a ludicrous character," Blunt added of her role as Emily Charlton. "It did leave the door open for people to see me as more than a British period drama girl. It paved the way for character roles, which is all I wanted."
Emily also opened up about working alongside her husband, John Krasinski, in 'A Quiet Place.' "I don’t think he knew what he was capable of," she reflected. Watching her husband direct was akin to observing someone discover a hidden superpower. "Can you imagine if he thought I was really bad?
