Looks like March is going to be lit with a new drop from Jack Harlow! The rapper took to Instagram on February 10 to unveil his much-anticipated fourth studio album, "Monica." Mark your calendars, because this project lands on his birthday, March 13 – sounds like the perfect way to celebrate, right?
"I WAITED SO LONG OMG," one super excited fan exclaimed in the comments, and they're definitely not alone. Fans have been eagerly awaiting new tunes since Harlow's last album, "Jackman," released in April 2023. Now, they're buzzing with anticipation and showering the post with love and emojis.
"Monica" trails behind Harlow's previous work, "Jackman," and his sophomore album, "Come Home The Kids Miss You," which featured collabs with major names like Drake, Pharrell Williams, and Lil Wayne. The tracklist for "Monica" is still under wraps, leaving fans to speculate about any guest stars that might pop up.
During an Apple Music chat with Zane Lowe last March, Harlow confessed that the album's creation was taking a bit longer than expected. "That is a big question," he mused when Lowe asked about the album's progress. "I ask myself this all the time. Where is the album?"
"It's in process," he continued. "I'm trying to transcend, you know? I wanna do something I've never done and I'm just slowly starting to accept that maybe it's going to take me longer."
So, while the secret sauce of "Monica" is still brewing, we can be sure Harlow's aiming high with this next chapter. Stay tuned, LA!
