The conversation turned philosophical when Architectural Digest asked Keke about her views on consumerism, especially after working with filmmaker Boots Riley. Keke, ever the grounded star, reflected on her balanced approach.

“I think I’ve always had a very realistic relationship with consumerism,” Palmer explained. “Meaning that I like things, and I like getting things, but I never felt like having things was an explanation of my value.”
