Kylie Jenner, the reality TV star and beauty mogul, is facing a fresh legal challenge from her former private chef. On June 22, the chef filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court with claims reaching over two dozen. The allegations include discrimination, harassment, emotional distress, wrongful termination, and failure to pay fair wages. This all comes amid accusations of excessive workload and high-pressure duties during the chef's high-risk pregnancy – a troubling echo of previous lawsuits against Jenner.

“For our client, this case is about finding justice after one of the most painful chapters of her life," said Attorney Della Shaker of Shaker Law Group on behalf of the chef.

During her employment from November 2024 to March 2025, the chef claims she was subjected to physically demanding tasks despite notifying Jenner and her management about her pregnancy. A particularly alarming incident happened in December 2024 when the chef was allegedly required to carry heavy food items uphill, causing a medical emergency and severe distress.

The Aftermath of Excessive Demands

The chef's anguish didn't end there. On February 1, 2025, during a birthday bash for Jenner's child, the chef alleges she was overloaded with work without assistance, leading to an emotional breakdown. The following morning, she faced severe health issues, eventually resulting in a miscarriage.

Upon returning to work, she reported her loss and experienced alleged backlash, including being unfairly blamed for leaving Jenner's house in disarray. Despite requesting relocation for health reasons, her communication was interpreted as resignation, leading to her dismissal by March 31, 2025.

The Legal Battle Continues

The former chef is pursuing damages for discrimination, harassment, and wage violations, among other grievances. Her lawsuit follows similar claims by two other former employees – Angelica Hernandez Vasquez and Juana Delgado Soto – who have also recently filed against Jenner, citing hostile work environments.

The chef's complaint further accuses Jenner and her team of neglecting her health needs despite being aware of her circumstances. Notably, an email from a management firm proposed a settlement, which the chef viewed as an attempt to silence her. As the legal proceedings unfold, Jenner's camp remains tight-lipped.

The chef is seeking financial restitution covering back pay, lost wages, and other damages, emphasizing the emotional toll and financial strain she has endured due to these alleged workplace injustices.
