Looks like Lady Gaga's not just making music – she's making wedding plans too! After a stunning performance of "Die With a Smile" at Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show, the pop sensation revealed she's set to marry her tech-savvy fiancé, Michael Polansky.
In a surprise pre-taped message broadcasted during a buzzing iHeartRadio and TikTok event for Bruno Mars' new album "The Romantic," Gaga spilled the tea about her upcoming nuptials. "Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year," she confessed. "But we’re getting married soon, we were hoping you could choose a special song for us."
“Mars then recommended his opening track, 'Risk It All,' saying, 'I want to dedicate this to Lady Gaga and her fiancé. Michael, this is for you too.'”
So, how did this power couple come to be? Lady Gaga, 38, and Michael Polansky, 42, have been turning heads since they first linked up in 2019. The two met at a swanky 40th birthday bash for Napster founder Sean Parker at his Los Angeles pad. According to Vogue, the couple hit it off after chatting for three hours straight!
It wasn't until Valentine's season of 2020 that Gaga went public about their romance with an Instagram post featuring them living it up on a boat in Miami. The pandemic brought them closer, with Gaga sharing in an October 2024 Vogue piece how her mom predicted she'd found "the most perfect person" for her.
Michael Polansky isn't just a pretty face – he’s a business and tech guru with serious creds. A Harvard alum, he's got a background in mathematics and computer science. In 2022, he co-launched Outer Biosciences, a cool science-driven skin health company. Plus, he's heavily involved in cancer research funding as part of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy.
Polansky’s been a behind-the-scenes force in Gaga's world too. He played a key role in her "One World: Together at Home" concert in support of the World Health Organization. And at the 2026 Grammys, Gaga thanked him for his unwavering support on her award-winning album "Mayhem."
