Reality TV sensation and former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star, Lisa Rinna, recently revealed a disturbing experience she had during a glitzy premiere party for 'The Traitors' at The Abbey, a famed bar in West Hollywood. On a Thursday appearance on 'Good Day New York,' Rinna shared her suspicion that she was drugged at the January 8 event.
Rinna, known for her bold presence and candor, didn't hold back while discussing the ordeal. "Yes, I was," she confirmed when asked if she believed she was "roofied." Shockingly, she detailed that tests showed fentanyl and high levels of amphetamines in her system – substances she clearly did not consent to consume.
“Luckily, my husband was there and was able to get me out of there quickly,” Rinna shared, expressing gratitude towards her husband, actor Harry Hamlin.
The night turned worrying when Rinna's co-star, Colton Underwood, noticed her level of intoxication didn't match the couple of drinks she'd had. Concerned for her well-being, he alerted her team, who swiftly intervened and escorted her to safety.
Rinna's husband, Harry Hamlin, played a crucial role in ensuring her swift exit from the venue, showcasing a united front in a moment of crisis. Despite the scare, Rinna has not confirmed whether she reported the incident to the authorities.
In response to Rinna's allegations, The Abbey issued a statement highlighting their commitment to guest safety. They stated that a thorough internal review found no evidence of tampering or suspicious activity.
“So many people that I know have had this happen at The Abbey,” Rinna mentioned, underscoring the importance of discussing such issues. The Abbey assured the public of their rigorous surveillance and safety measures.
Despite the lack of evidence, Rinna’s claims bring to light a critical conversation about safety in nightlife venues, echoing concerns that have been whispered across LA's vibrant scene for years.
