Star Power on Display at Charity Gala

Hallmark's own Lori Loughlin made waves at a recent charity event, showing off her effortless style and charisma amidst some personal turbulence. On February 5, the "When Calls the Heart" actress, still looking fabulous at 61, graced the star-studded launch of Project Angel Foods’ The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Campus.

Keeping it SoCal chic, Lori donned a simple yet elegant lacy white top paired with classic blue jeans and brown leather heels. Her flowing hair and tasteful accessories – think beaded necklaces and silver bracelets – completed a look that was only outshone by her radiant smile.

A Cause Close to Heart

The event marked the grand opening of a new endeavor by Project Angel Food, a charitable project aiming to churn out more than 4.5 million meals annually for those in need around Los Angeles. With its state-of-the-art kitchen boasting three hot cook lines, the facility is set to serve over 10,000 people a year, making a significant impact across the county.

It was a Hollywood night, with other big names like Jamie Lee Curtis, Sandra Lee, Sharon Lawrence, and Judith Light joining the cause.

Personal Drama Behind the Scenes

While Lori dazzled on the public front, reports of lingering bitterness toward her ex-husband, Mossimo Giannulli, simmer in the background. "Lori is still extremely angry with him," a source spilled to PEOPLE in January. Although they once shared nearly three decades of life, love, and challenges, the duo has been living separate lives since splitting in October.

Their marriage, facing heavy stress from the infamous College Admissions scandal, never quite bounced back. After both pleaded guilty to charges of wire and mail fraud, Lori served two months in prison while Mossimo spent five months behind bars.

Support from Friends

Even as she navigates this rocky road, Lori's friends have rallied around her. John Stamos, her "Full House" co-star, voiced his support, saying, "She put up with a lot over the years of this guy... I just hate to see her go through this."

Having first crossed paths in 1995 and tying the knot in 1997, Lori and Mossimo's journey together may have ended, but Lori's strength and poise continue to shine through, both on the red carpet and beyond. Her fans and friends remain steadfast, offering a support system as she moves forward.
