Model'S High-Stakes Scheme: Lavish Life Funded By Online Deceptions

Allegations of High-Stakes Deception

Stepping straight out of a Hollywood drama, Adva Lavie, a 27-year-old model with appearances in Playboy and Penthouse, finds herself in hot water. Lavie is accused of weaving a web of deceit, allegedly seducing wealthy older men she met through dating apps, only to rob them blind to sustain her extravagant lifestyle. The Beverly Hills-based influencer might soon swap her designer outfits for a less fashionable jumpsuit if the charges stick.

Authorities allege that Lavie, who also goes by Mia Ventura, drove a Porsche to her victims' homes, posing as a girlfriend or companion. Once inside, she allegedly stole cash, gold, and high-end designer items, all while maintaining the facade of a wealthy, jet-setting socialite. From 2023 to 2025, Lavie reportedly targeted at least five men, but more than 10 others have stepped forward, claiming to have fallen victim to her schemes.

“This ruling means the evidence in this case will now be presented before a jury. At her trial, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships,” stated LA County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman.

Legal Proceedings and Potential Consequences

On Monday, a judge determined there was sufficient evidence to proceed with a full criminal trial. Lavie, who resides in Los Angeles, faces six felony counts: unauthorized use of personal identifying information, grand theft, and first-degree residential burglary, among others. If found guilty, she could be looking at more than 11 years behind bars.

Lavie pleaded not guilty to all charges during a December hearing. Currently, she's out on an ankle monitor, awaiting her arraignment scheduled for April 6. With her reputation already under scrutiny, Lavie remains a controversial figure in LA's influencer scene.

From Luxury Cars to Courtrooms

The charges paint a picture of a woman living the high life – visiting her victims in luxury cars like a Porsche Macan SUV and a white Mercedes coupe, and refining her image with designer clothes and international trips. However, some alleged victims claim this glamorous image helped her build trust, making it easier to exploit them.

While Lavie's alleged crimes initially targeted wealthy older men, police have noted similar accusations from younger women in affluent LA hotspots like West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Last October, authorities issued an alert describing Lavie as a "suspect involved in a series of residential burglaries throughout LA County," highlighting her modus operandi of targeting through dating platforms.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the Los Angeles community watches closely, with the possibility of a lengthy prison sentence looming over Lavie's once-glamorous future.
