The glitzy streets of Los Angeles were alive with the sound of Hollywood glam as stars flocked to Variety's annual Hitmakers bash. The red carpet was a veritable fashion runway, featuring designs hot off the Ralph Lauren and Versace lines, among others. This is where the music industry's biggest names come to show their style chops, and this year was no exception.
Both Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae turned back the clock to the early 2000s for their ensembles. Carpenter dazzled in a buttery yellow Ralph Lauren strapless dress, a nod to the designer's spring 2003 collection, styled by Jared Ellner. Tate McRae echoed the retro sentiment with her Versace fall 2003 strapless number – a mocha masterpiece featuring a chiffon skirt and corseted bodice, perfectly curated by styling duo Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo.
"It's amazing to see how these classic designs still make such a statement after all these years," a fashion insider commented.
Blackpink's Rosé was a vision in white, stepping out in a botanical-inspired minidress by George Keburia, straight from the designer's spring 2026 collection. The dress featured sharp lines and a flowing train – a look expertly crafted by stylist Law Roach. Completing the ensemble with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, Rosé was an undeniable fashion force on the carpet.
Meanwhile, Ejae of "KPop Demon Hunters" fame kept it chic and sleek. Clad in a black Mother of All dress, her look was edgy with a keyhole cutout and metallic silver heels. Styled by Kate Li, Ejae was ready for her red carpet moment, combining classic elegance with modern flair.
Sofia Richie Grainge took maternity fashion to new heights in her Schiaparelli dress, styled by Thomas Christos. The high-neck, sleeveless gown beautifully showcased her growing baby bump while maintaining an air of sophistication. The flowing bodice and A-line skirt provided a fresh take on maternal chic, making Richie Grainge a style icon for expectant mothers everywhere.
Since its inception in 2017, the Variety Hitmakers event has celebrated artists who leave a mark on the music scene. This year, Sabrina Carpenter, honored as Variety's 2025 Hitmaker, was recognized for her influential seventh studio album "Man’s Best Friend."
