Stallone’s Big Move: From Hollywood Hills to Palm Beach Paradise

Yo, Adrian! Sylvester Stallone, the Rocky legend himself, has officially traded the Hollywood hustle for the laid-back luxe of Palm Beach, Florida. Alongside his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Flavin, the 79-year-old action icon opened the doors to their jaw-dropping waterfront mansion for Veranda’s September/October cover story, and let’s just say it’s got more punch than a Balboa fight scene.

Two years ago, after waving goodbye to California’s glitz, the couple made this 2014-built estate their permanent pad. But finding the perfect spot wasn’t a walk on the Venice Beach boardwalk. Stallone told the mag that post-Covid builds in the area were straight-up ‘monstrosities’ - too cold, too hotel-lobby vibes, and not enough soul for their big family.

Enter their current crib, a rare gem with private beach access (the only one in Palm Beach, mind you), and a vibe that screams SoCal summer energy meets East Coast elegance. With the help of celeb interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who also styled their old Hidden Hills spot, they’ve turned it into a cozy yet glamorous retreat.

Inside the Mansion: Art, Family, and ‘Livable Glamour’

Flavin, 56, the brains behind Serious Skincare, was all about the home’s ‘livable size’ - perfect for their crew, which includes three grown daughters, Sophia (28), Sistine (27), and Scarlet (23), plus Stallone’s two sons from his previous marriage to Sasha Czack, Seargeoh (44) and the late Sage, who tragically passed in 2012 at 36. High ceilings and massive windows also caught their eye, making it an ideal gallery for Stallone’s epic art collection, which he’s been building since he was 16.

‘Art’s like a wardrobe to me,’ Stallone mused, explaining how he loves switching pieces around to keep the energy fresh. ‘You move a painting to a new spot, and boom - you’re hyped again. It’s all about restimulating the mind, like rearranging furniture.’

Bullard nailed the ‘loungy vibe’ they were after, balancing sophistication with a space that still feels like home. Flavin’s clear on one thing: no matter how fancy a room looks, it’s all about family over material stuff. Pets, kids, spills - bring it on. ‘Our family is precious, but the rugs? Nah, I can replace those,’ she laughed.

Designing a Dream: Laid-Back Luxe with a Personal Touch

The design process wasn’t just about aesthetics - it was personal. Every corner of this Palm Beach palace reflects the couple’s journey, from their 28 years of marriage to their shared love for art and family gatherings. Flavin’s insistence on a warm, welcoming space shines through, even with the home’s upscale touches.

‘I’ve turned every place we’ve lived into a real home,’ Flavin shared with Veranda. ‘I don’t care about a spill or a mess - we’ve got three dogs, a cat, and a full house of kids. Nothing we own is too precious to enjoy.’

That family-first mentality is the heart of this estate, paired with Bullard’s knack for blending elegance with comfort. It’s a far cry from the cold, oversized builds they passed on, and a perfect fit for their next chapter under the Florida sun.

Saying Goodbye to Cali: Big Sales and New Beginnings

Before fully embracing the East Coast, Stallone and Flavin closed out their West Coast era with some major real estate moves. Their final Cali home, a Hidden Hills compound, sold for $17 million in October 2023, per Robb Report, after hitting the market at $22.5 million the previous December, according to the LA Times. Talk about a SoCal send-off!

They also parted ways with a massive 21,000-square-foot Beverly Park mansion, selling it to none other than Adele for a reported $58 million in 2022. Originally listed at a staggering $110 million, they dropped the price to $85 million before sealing the deal. That’s some serious Hollywood Hills drama right there.

Now fully settled in Palm Beach, the couple’s all about this new chapter. Want the full scoop and more drool-worthy pics of their estate? Check out Veranda.com or grab the September/October issue of the mag. Trust us, it’s worth the peek into this A-lister’s not-so-humble abode.
