Saying Goodbye to the City of Angels

Sylvester Stallone, along with his wife Jennifer Flavin, has turned the page on their Hollywood chapter, trading it in for Florida’s laid-back lifestyle. The couple, best-known around the glitzy boulevards of LA, say they have no regrets about their big move.
“I’m having the time of my life. I feel like it’s been a rebirth for our family,” Flavin told Fox News Digital. “Since my entire family moved to the East Coast, we’re having such a great time. It’s new friends, new adventures, really great people. I’ve met some incredible friends that I never had in LA. Sly and I are so enjoying our time there.”
The Decision to Relocate
Stallone, the iconic star of 'ROCKY', and Flavin didn’t jump into this decision lightly. They shared their plans to relocate during an episode of their reality show, "THE FAMILY STALLONE," revealing their intention to permanently leave the Golden State.
“After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, time to move on and leave the state of California permanently, and we’re going to go to Florida,” Stallone told his daughters. “We’re gonna sell this house. We already have the place, it’s a done deal.”
Floridian Bliss
The star may have swapped the red carpets of Hollywood for Florida’s sandy shores, but he couldn’t be happier with the transition.
“I love it. First of all, the air seems to always be clean. We’re very, very near the water and that makes my wife incredibly happy. It makes me happy, and it’s just something about it. It’s just so lush,” he shared about their new home state. Stallone also highlighted his past connection: “I went to college there for a couple of years. So, I’m not a stranger to the environment, but it fits my personality much better.”
Honors and Recognition
Even though Stallone has left the Hollywood hustle, he continues to receive accolades for his contributions to the film industry. He was recently acknowledged by President Trump at the Kennedy Center Honors, sharing the limelight with other legends like Kiss, Gloria Gaynor, Michael Crawford, and George Strait.
Celebrating the moment on Instagram, Stallone posted, “Honored to receive this year’s Kennedy Center Honors medal for championing the performing arts. Thank you all for the support over the years, keep punching! 🥊🥊”
Fans poured their love in the comments, showing appreciation for his work. “Your courage and strength have always been a landmark in my life, like Rocky’s first triumph. Today I rejoice seeing you receive this well-deserved medal. Congratulations, Stallone! 🥊💖” one fan commented.
Another added, “Mr. Stallone, you deserve every award out there! ROCKY is art at its finest – it changes lives. Thank you for inspiring my family to push ourselves to be the best we can be on a daily basis.”
Stallone’s new chapter seems to be filled with sunshine and success far from the Hollywood spotlight.
