Captured on shocking footage by TMZ, the 50-year-old actress was seen slouched in a wheelchair by 12:30 a.m., visibly unable to maintain control. As the minutes ticked by, hotel staff placed her on a stretcher, and she was whisked away in an ambulance just before the clock struck one.

Witnesses at the hotel bar revealed that Reid seemed fine during brief interactions, but as the night wore on and the crowd shifted to the lobby, her demeanor changed drastically. Hours later, she awoke in a hospital bed, feeling confused and disoriented. Hospital staff reportedly informed Reid she had been drugged, although no specific tests were conducted.

Reflecting on the incident, Reid described her experience as “vague” and “blurry,” recalling how she awoke to find herself accompanied by a woman who didn't speak English. "At one point, I thought I was in Mexico," she confessed.

Her agent later came to her rescue, enabling her to fulfill a scheduled signing before she finally headed home. Despite having faced past challenges with substance abuse – including a stint at Malibu's Promises Treatment Center in 2008 – Reid assured that she's been in control of her drinking.

Her spokesperson confirmed to People magazine that Reid filed a police report and is helping authorities with investigations. “Tara is recovering and asks for privacy during this traumatic time. She also urges everyone to be careful, watch their drinks, and never leave them unattended, as this can happen to anyone," the statement read.
