Among them, Pattinson hinted at how Zendaya played a pivotal role in opening the doors to Arrakis for him. "I absolutely adored these movies," Pattinson gushed about the previous 'Dune' films. "I saw them multiple times in the theaters," he added.

It was during a casual chat with Zendaya on the set of their shared project, 'The Drama', that Pattinson first expressed his desire to join the 'Dune' saga. Reminiscing about the encounter, he said, “I asked her, 'Can I get in one of those Dune movies?'” To which the ever-charming Zendaya reportedly teased, “I know a guy.”

“It was a very unexpected call a few months later,” Pattinson shared, turning to Zendaya, “I kind of did think you [had] something to do with it!”
