Rita Ora made a dramatic entrance at the Los Angeles premiere of "Descendants: Wicked Wonderland." Sporting a see-through corset gown by Vietnamese designer Do Long, Rita turned heads with her bold fashion choice. As both a singer and actress starring in the Disney film, she embraced her red carpet moment with a look that was impossible to ignore – thanks to its daringly sheer construction.
The custom strapless gown featured a structured corset bodice in a blush pink base, layered beneath crimson lace-up panels that stretched vertically from neckline to hem. Sculptural red boning created the illusion of a lace-up corset while revealing the nude mesh beneath, giving the dress an almost entirely see-through appearance.
The gown’s fitted silhouette hugged Rita’s figure through the hips before flaring into a dramatic mermaid skirt. This transitioned into shimmering burgundy velvet with a glossy finish, culminating in an oversized train that added theatrical flair and movement. Glittering crimson embellishments adorned one side of the skirt and extended onto matching super short gloves, adding dimension to the ensemble.
“Rita Ora definitely knows how to make a statement on the red carpet, and she did just that with this daring look,” commented a fashion insider.
Ora complemented her gown with sparkling diamond earrings and kept additional accessories minimal. Her platinum-blonde bob was styled with a deep side part and secured with a single hair clip. For makeup, she chose bronzed tones, glossy nude lips, and softly defined eyes – perfectly complementing the gown's rich red hues.
Posing alongside her husband, filmmaker Taika Waititi, who chose a relaxed monochromatic look of a light grey jacket, matching trousers, a white T-shirt, and white sneakers, the couple exuded effortless style. Ora’s Do Long creation delivered one of the boldest fashion statements of the "Descendants: Wicked Wonderland" premiere.
