Tyreek Hill Calls It a Day with Legal Settlement

NFL superstar Tyreek Hill is heading into the weekend feeling a little lighter – and not just because of his athletic prowess. The free-agent receiver has wrapped up a legal standoff with OnlyFans model Sophie Hall, who took him to court over a broken leg she suffered during a 2023 training session. As of Friday, the two parties have reached a settlement for an undisclosed amount, effectively putting the case to bed.

Training Session Tensions

The backdrop of this legal saga is a training session gone awry. Hall alleged that during a visit to Hill's Southwest Ranches pad in June of that year, she was invited to participate in some football drills. Things took a turn during a one-on-one workout when Hall claimed Hill became embarrassed after she shoved him backward. According to her, his response was to charge at her "violently and with great force," leading to her unfortunate leg injury.

Hill's defense team countered this narrative, suggesting instead that Hall tripped over a dog during the session, and argued she should have been aware of the inherent risks involved.

"I’m just relieved it’s settled," Hill reportedly told reporters afterwards, adding with a grin, "Now, I’m going to Disney World to celebrate."

Trial Drama Ends

The case saw its share of courtroom action this week, with jury selection, opening statements, and testimonies all in play. However, things came to a halt when the settlement was announced. Hall had been aiming for at least $50,000 on counts of battery, assault, and negligence, but with the settlement, her assault and battery claims have been dismissed, and Hill settled the negligence accusation.
